CBSE – NEET (UG) - 2017 RESULTS DECLARED.

According to CBSE, around 10.8 lakh candidates have appeared for NEET 2017. For General category candidates, the cutoff percentile is 50. Last year, around seven lakh candidates had appeared for NEET. So how much score was needed to get into a particular ranking range? Note: Lower and upper limit rank for lowest and highest score ranges have been considered

Multiple candidates scored same marks and thus the starting rank for a particular marks range may not be in continuation to the last rank of the previous marks range.

While multiple candidates scored marks in lower range, number of test takers scoring above 600 was much lesser.
Out of 720, highest score obtained in NEET 2016 was 685.

Take a look at the category wise qualifying marks range and number of candidates fulfilling the criteria for NEET 2016. Candidates must know that they first need to qualify NEET exam with a pre-scheduled percentile cutoff that is announced CBSE. Further, separate cutoffs are announced for 15 per cent All India Quota seats. In addition, this year, states will be separately announcing state wise cutoff for admission to government and private medical institutions through state-wise centralised counselling.

Through NEET 2017 scores, admission to approximately 63,000 MBBS and BDS seats across India except for AIIMS and JIPMER will take place. This year, NEET has undergone major changes with the Supreme Court overturning the age limit set by the MCI for NEET 2017.
